Foreign Diplomats Visit Changsha

About 40 diplomats and their wives as well as journalists from 23 countries, who are stationed in China, are in Changsha for a three-day exchange program which began Sunday.

During their stay they will learn about the economic and social development and local folk customs of the capital city of central China's Hunan Province, said a city government official.

They will also visit local businesses, educational institutions, farms and scenic spots.

The program is aimed at letting the city better known to the outside world so as to promote its opening.
