First-Aid Center to Established in Jiuzhaigou

A first-aid center meeting advanced international standards will be established in Jiuzhaigou, a well-known scenic spot in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The center will be equipped with first-rate Chinese and foreign medical equipment, invite renowned doctors to work and build a small blood bank.

Beautiful landscapes and well-protected forests at Jiuzhaigou have long been tourist attractions to domestic and overseas visitors. Jiuzhaigou received 810,000 tourists including 160,000 overseas visitors in the first eleven months of this year, both more than in the same period in 1999.
