Fujian Cracks down on Drug Smuggling Case

Police have cracked down on a serious case of drug smuggling in east China's Fujian province.

A total amount of 56 kilograms of ice, the street name for methamphetamine hydrochloride, was seized during operations.

The police have also detained two suspects thought to be involved in the drug trafficking.

The drugs were evidently intended to be smuggled from Fujian to Taiwan.
