Thirty-four students of a medical and health school in the city of Yichang, central China's Hubei Province, were hospitalized for food poisoning on Saturday evening.

The students are out of danger as of Sunday, according to local medical sources.

The sources noted that the students, all boarders, began to show symptoms of food poisoning shortly after having meals at the school dining hall.

An investigation is still underway.
