Sex Education Failing Schoolchildren

A recent survey of middle school youngsters showed that sex education in Guangzhou is extremely lacking, reports the New Express News.

The main source of information for teenagers about sex and HIV/AIDS comes from newspapers, magazines, books and exhibitions, and from chatting with friends.

Sex education in schools and information from doctors only account for 21.79 percent and 8.59 percent respectively, the survey of 1,583 students in the Guangdong provincial capital showed.
