Zhang Yimou Nominated for Hollywood Film Awards

Chinese director Zhang Yimou's movies The Hero and House of Flying Daggers have been nominated for this years Hollywood Movie of the Year Award and Hollywood World at the Hollywood Film Festival which opening Tuesday, reported China Radio International.
   
Other nominees include Wong Kar-wai's for his film 2046 and Jia Zhangke's The World.
   
Hollywood stars will set off a frenzy of camera flash-bulbs when they walk along the red carpet, include Leonardo Dicaprio, Annette Bening and Tom Cruise.
   
Chinese nominee Zhang Yimou will be joined by Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi.
   
60 films will be presented at the 8th Annual Hollywood Film Festival, with 16 World Premieres and 24 U.S. Premieres.
   
The festival will open with the world premiere of The Cutting Edge by Wendy Apple, and will close with the US Premiere of A Love Song For Bobby Lone by Shainee Gabel.
