Beijing's Bad Eating Habits

The Ministry of Health's head nutritionist says Beijing citizens have adopted many bad eating habits that can lead to deadly chronic diseases.

The nutritionist made the remarks at a health and disease seminar held yesterday in Beijing, saying some of the bad eating habits include over consumption of edible oil and salt, fast food, and meat.

Seminar attendees called on Beijing citizens to eat more healthy foods like vegetables, while others suggested more people pay close attention to advice offered by food pyramids and other nutritional information for healthy living.
