Style Awards China 2004 Opens

The Style Awards China 2004 has been unveiled in Shanghai on Sunday night, with stars from Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong dazzling the annual event, China Radio International reported on Monday.
   
Chinese renowned director Zhang Yimou's first martial-arts epic, Hero, was crowned as the Chinese Film Record Maker of world Box Office, and his second martial-arts blockbuster, House of Flying Daggers, also joined in the lineup of the shinning stars as the winner of Film Record Maker Award in China.
   
The Olympic diving champions and lovers Tian Liang and Guo Jingjing also showed up at the event and pocketed the Style Sports Star Awards.
   
Other artists also sparkled at the award ceremony included Taiwan popular singing group Yu Quan, Hong Kong queen of film Cecilia Cheung, and singer and actress Karen Mok, and mainland actress Vivky Zhao.
