A design competition called "Fashion Fever Barbie" finally lowered its curtain Saturday in Beijing, after one month of selecting and phasing out candidates.

What makes the competition so special is that all the "designers" are little children.They have to use their imagination as much as they can to dress up Barbie dolls, only using wastes materials like old clothing, newspapers and used cans.

During the competition, the little designers used all kinds of old materials to dress up 40 Barbie dolls with different flavors - elegant, fashionable, sporty, etc.

Initiated by ChinaKids Website, the event aims to not only challenge children's creativities, but also raise their awareness of environment protection.
