Foreign Ladies Weave 'Loving Care'

Cherishing the same interest of weaving, a group of kind-hearted foreign ladies in east China's Shanghai municipality spontaneously organized a Party of Loving Care and donated what they have weaved to some charity organizations in the city.

Every Thursday, they bring wool and get together in Ms. Susanferry's home, weaving sweaters and woolen hats.

"We not only learn the skill of weaving but also enjoy the feeling of donating them to charity organizations. Furthermore, it also makes our live more colorful and varied, and gives us chances to make friends with locals. We sincerely hope the ladies here in China can join us," said the foreign ladies.

Coming to Shanghai with their husbands who work in the city, these foreign ladies from the US, Singapore, Belgium as well as Canada weaved "warmth" with their hands to the senior citizens in Shanghai.

Good wishes go without borders. Where there is a charity activity, there is their participation. So far a total of some 6,000 senior citizens in Shanghai have received their donations.
