To help the laid-off women workers, the Women's Federation of Shanxi Province has provided training courses for them. Today, the federation holds a consultative meeting for laid-off women workers in Taiyuan. More than 40 organizations attend the consultative meeting, during which more than 1,000 job opportunities are offered for laid-off women workers.
