Shenzhen Uses LPG Buses to Reduce Air Pollution
The first 15 LPG buses began operation in the streets of Shenzhen City of Guangdong Province Thursday, as part of the city's efforts to curb environmental pollution.

Shenzhen is one of the cities in the country piloting the use of clean gas.

There are 3,300 public buses in the city, and 883 or 38.8 percent of them are environmentally friendly, according to local experts.

The LPG buses are jointly manufactured by four companies from Shenzhen and Guangzhou cities of Guangdong Province and Weifang City of Shandong Province.

Another 33 LPG buses are expected to ply local streets later this year.
