Automatic condom selling machines in Guangzhou are providing more condom brands to give people a wider choice.
There are over 1,500 condom selling machines in Guangzhou, most of which had only one of two brands inside.
A survey conducted by a local media outlet shows most of the citizens welcome the automatic selling devices, but people complain the variety of brands provided in the machine are too limited to meet people's demands.
And some people have raised their concern over the quality of the condoms as the machines are installed outside, quite vulnerable to rain and sunlight.
In addition to putting in more brands in the machine, the city's departments in charge are increasing their checks at each machine every day and timely replace the condoms which are too old and faulty.
