Hong Kong: Smart ID Change For People Born in 1966-67

In Hong Kong, ID holders who were born in 1966 and 1967 are required to apply for the new smart ID cards starting this month.

Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications in person at a Smart ID Card Center between November 17 and January 10.

About 190,000 applications have been received so far.

Officials warn those who have not applied to do so as soon as possible to avoid the last-minute rush.
