Scalpels and the Quest for Beauty

Beauty by a thousand cuts! The surgeon's scalpel. For one young Chinese lady, no price is too high in the quest for beauty.

To improve on the looks Mother Nature gave her, 24 year-old Hao Lulu underwent her most recent plastic surgery Friday.

Before the op, she said she didn't feel very nervous: after more than ten previous sessions under the knife, she's got quite used to it, and the whole remodeling project will be finished by the end of this year.

Let's hope her beauty is a joy forever - or at least for enough years to make all the expense worth it! But doctors point out that, like all surgery, plastic surgery has the risk of side effects, and things could start sagging again sooner rather than later.
