Average Price of Land in Beijing Tops No.1

The Ministry of Land and Resources has disclosed the average price of land in Beijing ranks the highest in the country.

Following the capital, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Chengdu, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen and Guiyang appear on top-ten list.

Meanwhile, the city of Urumchi sees the lowest average price of land.

Statistics show the average price of land rose steadily in major cities last year.

The ministry says the land prices are expected to continue to increase this year.
