Adjust font size:

Workers unpack a Rembrandt self-portrait from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam at the Shanghai Museum yesterday. A three-month exhibition "Rembrandt and the Golden Age" will open the museum from November 3. It is the first major exhibition of 17th century Dutch art in China which includes four Rembrandt canvases and 20 copperplates. A total of 74 works of art will be shown in Shanghai. "This is a rare opportunity to view masterpieces we have only seen in catalogues before," said Shanghai Museum Curator Chen Xiejun.
