Intl. yacht show to be staged in SZ

The Shenzhen International Yacht Exhibition will be staged at Dameisha beach from Thursday until Sunday, as part of the 6th Shenzhen Golden Coast Tourism Festival.

More than 50 shipping companies from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong will display their yachts or sailboats, including the Predator, Sunseek, Bavaria, Rinker, Pro-line, Jeannneau and Medine III, at the Shenzhen Marina Club during the four-day event.

During the exhibition, potential buyers as well as some VIP clients selected by banking and securities organizations, such as the ABN AMRO, HSBC, Guosen Securities Co. Ltd., will be invited to try out chosen yachts and sailboats.

On Thursday, the China Yacht Industry Summit will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Dameisha Thursday. Leaders and experts from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Maritime Safety Administration will attend the summit and discuss new developments in China's yacht industry.

The exhibition is being jointly organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Tourism Bureau, Yantian District Government and Shenzhen Yubo Expo Group.
