Students get a taste of classy Bund spirit
Adjust font size:

Shanghai's leading gourmet restaurant complex Three on the Bund recently extended its community goodwill to a group of secondary school students.

Forty-five girls from Shanghai No. 8 Girls High School attended the final session of "A Contemporary Lifestyle Experience," a series of educational talks focusing on contemporary culture held at the complex.

They took a tour through the building with its four unique restaurants, the Giorgio Armani flagship store, Hugo Boss, Space by Three private events space, Evian Spa by Three and the gallery.

A Three on the Bund pastry chef taught the girls how to make festive season treats and the day included an awards ceremony for the best five students plus a visit from Santa Claus.

"A key part of our vision at Three on the Bund is to inspire our community to embrace new ideas and experiences and this series of talks fit well into that mold," said Managing Director Alan Hepburn.

"These students are at an important age where their ideas and views of the world and its possibilities are just starting to form," he added.

"A Contemporary Life Style Experience" is one of many community activities organized as part of "Bund Spirit" which is an ongoing commitment to give back to the local community through Three Talk, a speaker series, fundraising events and providing assistance and support to local elderly homes and educational centers.
