Sino-India Border Talks Open

China and India have begun a third round of two-day high-level border talks in New Delhi.

The two-day talks, held between Special Representatives appointed by both governments, are set to resolve the long-standing border dispute between the two countries.

Monday's talks are the first time India's special representative, J. N. Dixit, met his Chinese counterpart, vice foreign minister Dai Bingguo, since the change of government in India in May.

Dai Bingguo will also meet Indian Prime Minister Mamohan Singh and Foreign Minister Natwal Singh.
