Monkeys Wildly Attacks Travelers

" Over 60 monkeys jumped upon us crazily...” On May 31, 12 female travelers were frightened when traveling near the Nine Dragon Mountain Village in Ningbo, a city in east China's Zhejiang Province.

At half past 3 on that day, 12 female employees from a certain company in Ningbo went to the Monkey Island in the Nine Dragon Mountain Village. When they disembarked, over 60 monkeys suddenly ran at them and forced them into the lake. For the solitary boat had already gone away, most of the travelers had to jump into the water to escape.

One monkey caught hold of a traveler and took a bite out of her leg. " I was frightened at such an incident. I grasped my colleagues and felt that I would be eaten off by the monkey". 20 minutes past before the boats from the Village came and rescued the travelers.

It is reported that the Monkey Island is one of the travel projects in the Nine Dragon Mountain Village. Travelers will spend 60 yuan on a boat and then they can march for the island. Similar accident happened before but such large-scale of attacking travelers is rarely seen. The Village has paid 12 travelers 1,600 yuan as compensation. But the travelers have expressed disappointments to the mis-management of the Village.
