Truck Crash Claims 7 Lives in Nanjing

Seven people were killed and four others injured when a truck crashed into three residential homes around 4:30 am Monday in Nanjing City, capital of east China's Jiangsu province.

 

It is believed that the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle as it was passing a small alley.

 

The driver and two others died at the scene, and another four people failed to respond to emergency treatment and died later. A three-year-old boy was among the four injured, and three of them seriously.

 

Police are investigating into the accident.
