Chinese mainland signer Sun Nan is to hold a solo concert in mid-October at Hongkou Football Stadium in Shanghai.

The pop singer, with his distinctive high-pitched voice, is considered one of the top male singers in the mainland. He's formed a style all his own with his emotional love ballads.

No expense has been spared on technology to make sure the acoustics are just right for the concert and there will even be a fireworks show during the performance.

Sun Nan also plans to give performance in Beijng and Xi'an, but the dates have not been set.

At the start of this year Sun Nan released a new album called Ranshao, or Burning. All the tracks in it are love songs portraying men's feelings, in or out of love.
