China's hottest star Zhang Ziyi visits South Korea this week to take part in Christian Dior's 2005 autumn/winter show.

The event in Seoul on Friday will be the first show the French fashion house has sponsored in Asia.

Named publicity ambassador to Asia this year by the brand, Zhang Ziyi will show off rich, flamboyant designs by the company's creative director John Galliano.

Chosen a while ago Time magazine as one of the world's 100 Most Influential People, Zhang Ziyi is said to have been a fan of Christian Dior for a long time, but it is her beauty that is sure to give the event an added dimension, side by side with Korean models such as Lee Jung-jae, Kim Nam-jin, Kang Dong-won, Kim Hye-soo, Han Ye-seul and Uhm Jung-hwa.
