Forget the hot news that Super Girl Zhang Liangying will be performing with Michael Bolton in the US singer's Chinese tour.

Last week it was reported that Zhang was invited to join Bolton's Beijing concert December 14. Shanghai's organizers also planed to invite Zhang since she is very popular in China and does well with English lyrics.

However, the deal was rejected by the Shanghai organizers when the Super Girl demanded a super 300,000 yuan (US$37,500) to perform, dramatically more than some mainland top singers.

The Grammy-award winning Bolton is bringing his own band from the United States to Beijing on December 14 and the December 12 Shanghai concert, part of his Asia tour.

As for the Beijing concert, the organizers are now considering another Super Girl Li Yuchun.

Both the Super Girls' agents denied the reports.
