Yao Ming, Sui Feifei Most Popular Chinese Basketballer
In the 2003 BM (Basketman) Basketball Gala, Yao Ming and Sui Feifei were awarded NIKE Most Popular Chinese Basketballer Wednesday in Beijing.

The 2003 BM Basketball Gala was aimed to recount the achievements of Chinese basketball and create more prospects for the sport in China.

Yao Ming, who will start in the NBA All-star game on February 9,was voted the most popular male cager for his successful landing on NBA. Before moving to NBA, Yao Ming also help Shanghai Sharks to take the title of CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) league in 2002.

Sui Feifei, MVP of Chinese women's basketball all-star game on Jan. 28 in WCBA (Chinese Women's Basketball League), attributed the award to Chinese women basketball team and vowed to work harder in the future.
