South Korean star Jeon Ji-hyun will come to Beijing on Saturday for the premiere of My Sassy Girl II: Windstruck, CRI reported Thursday.
The renowned film star arrived in Hong Kong last week, preparing for the premiere which will take place simultaneously in Korea and Hong Kong on Thursday.
Starring South Korean stars Cha Tae-hyun and Jang Hyuk, it is the first Korean movie to hold its premiere abroad.
The movie, which is a love story between a policewoman and an innocent young man, mainly caters to the youth-oriented market.
But director Kwak Jae-yong utilizes originality rather than crassness to make his movie a success.
