Chinese Shao a Married Man

China's 1860 Munich international midfielder Shao Jiayi has said farewell to his bachelor life and is now a happily married man.

The 24-year-old wedded his sweetheart in Beijing Tuesday.

His national teammates, including Sun Jihai of Manchester City and former Bundesliga striker Yang Chen, as well as China's Dutch head coach Arie Haan were among the wedding guests at Beijing's International Hotel.

Shao, the former Beijing Guo'an player, joined the Bundesliga side early last year. However, a serious knee injury last August forced him into a nearly eight-month absence.

He resumed training in March and will play in the Asian Cup in July to be held in China. (Photo Source: sina.com.cn)
