Shenyang Opens Family Violence Alarm Center

Shenyang, the capital city of northeast China’s Liaoning province, has opened “110” family violence alarm center to the public, eastday.com reported Monday.

The victims, especially women, will get help if they dial 110. The family violation center will give preferential assistance to the women who report in time, reprimand those involved in less serious family violence and bring those involved in violence cases in which women are seriously hurt to the public security offices.

Family violence in Shenyang has become more and more serious, and the opening of the center will help deal with the tough social problem, said the spokesman with the center.

If family members in Shenyang are hurt by family violence, they can dial 110 to make report.

No family violence is allowed, and everybody’s personal safety should be protected, said the spokesman.
