Couch Grass Stock for Winter in Tibet

Heads of yaks carry couch grass for the upcoming winter in Nagqu County, northern Tibet Plateau of Tibet Autonomous Region December 20, 2001.

Local herdsmen have stored enough food and couch grass for this winter since Nagqu county is the most blizzard-stricken area in the plateau and the temperature here in winter is usually about 30 centigrade below zero.
