Anhui Completes 20-hectare Garden

Construction of the 20-hectare Huiyuan Park has been completed in this capital city of east China's Anhui Province and it will be open to the public before the National Day on October 1.

Construction of the park began in 1999 and cost a total of 200 million yuan (US$24 million).

The park consists of three sections: a century square featuring modern style architecture in the middle, the east section copying traditional Chinese imperial gardens, and the western section displaying the local flavor of the province, according to sources.
