Hong Kong Arts Fair to Begin Today

The second round of Arts and Crafts Fair organized by Hong Kong Cultural Center (HKCC) will start today, featuring stalls for sales of arts and crafts items, and various service stalls at the HKCC Piazza until June 30.

There will be 43 arts and crafts stalls operating on Sunday afternoons and selected Public Holidays during the arts fair period.

The array of arts and crafts stalls include iron-twisting products, dried flower handicraft, wood-crafting, woolen knit, nut-carving, crystal accessories, cloth-made products, paper art, glass and environmental-friendly products, and calligraphy and Chinese painting.

Also included are silhouette cutting, hand-made brooch, pottery, flannel products, puppetry, silk and crystal flower arrangement, knot-tying arts and flour-making products.

A spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department said the arts fair has received 229 applications.

The fair is aimed at providing a platform for arts practitioners to demonstrate their creativity and share experiences with visitors and arts-lovers, promoting the venue as a vibrant place for creative arts and enhancing its attractiveness for both local residents and tourists.
