Flights Between Beijing, Seoul Remain Normal

All Seoul-bound flights from Beijing remain normal after a fatal air crash near Pusan airport of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Monday morning.

According to offices of relevant airlines here, Air China's CA125 Beijing-Seoul flight took off at 14:00 Monday while CA137 Beijing-Seoul will depart at 18:10.

KE852 Beijing-Seoul flight run by Korean Air left Beijing at 13:10 and Asiana Airlines' OZ332 Beijing-Seoul flight took off at 12:20 and OZ334 was to take off at 15:10.

An Air China Boeing 767-200 passenger plane, with flight number of CA129, crashed into a hill near Pusan airport at 10:40 (Beijing time). A total of 166 people, including 155 passengers and 11 crew members were aboard the plane.

Details of casualties and the cause of the incident are now under investigation.

It is the first fatal air crash of Air China since its establishment in 1988.
