Gold Dagobas in the Palace Museum of Beijing
Made in the Qing Dynasty, the two little gold dagobas were originally placed in the Buddhist Hall of the imperial palace. They are both in the inverted-bowl style, and their bodies are inlaid with many precious stones, demonstrating the exquisite workmanship. One of them has a niche inside of which is a rarely seen statue of Buddha made of pure gold.
