The Tang Dynasty Pagoda at Fawang Temple in Dengfeng of Henan Province
Beside Fawang Temple, five kilometers northeast of the county town of Dengfeng, stands the Tang Dynasty Pagoda. This single-storey, square brick pagoda is over ten meters high. The main body of the pagoda is topped by a roof with arc eaves. It has a proportionally large steeple in the style of Lamaist dagobas. This kind of one-storey pavilion-style pagoda is rarely seen in the country.
