Kiribati Gives Visa-free Access to Macao Passport

The Republic of Kiribati has granted visa-free treatment to passport holders of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China.

Beginning from Thursday, Macao SAR passport holders can enter Kiribati with visa-free treatment and stay there for up to 30 days per entry, according to officials with the Identification Services of the Macao SAR government.

People holding the travel permit of the Macao SAR can also enjoy visa-free treatment while entering the island country in the Pacific Ocean.

In return, holders of Kiribati passport can enter the Macao SAR with the visa-free treatment and stay for 30 days each time, official sources of Macao said.
