Source familiar with the case said that the tourism market of Chengdu was flourish last year, and kept a sound increasing trend. According the statistic, the total income of Chengdu's tourism last year hit 13.1 billion yuan, surge 24.5 percent over the same period of the year before last year.

Of them, Chengdu receipted 259.300 foreigners last year with US$8.107 million of foreign currency income. While, the income for domestic tourism reached 12.44 billion yuan, up 24.9 percent from the same period of the year before last year.
