Villagers in Qiangga Town, Linzhou County in Tibet are being reimbursed for their medical expenses at the township government June 29, 2005. An integrated urban and rural medical support system was being established in Tibet. Medical funds provided by the government for every farmer and herdsman have increased from 40 yuan to 80 yuan per year, greatly easing the economic burden of the local people.
