"We are confident that under your (General Secretary Hu Jintao) wise leadership, the 17th Party Congress will prove to be another landmark in the glorious history of the Chinese people in realizing their noble aspirations for comprehensive development, peace, progress and prosperity.

Pakistan and China are all-weather and time-tested friends. The people of Pakistan rejoice in the great accomplishments of their Chinese friends. We are also happy that our traditional friendship continues to be notified each passing year by a robust, mutually beneficial partnership for peace and development.
