ENERGY Energizes Beijing Fans

Hot new Taiwan group ENERGY was in Beijing on Wednesday to promote their new album. They exuded energy and sizzled at the Xidan Culture Square. The hot performance from the boys had the young fans screaming for more. They won't have to wait long. Wednesday was a warm up for their September gig at the Beijing Workers' Stadium. But that didn't stop the band from signing their album" ENERGY 4 EVER" for the ever enthusiastic fans.

Hot Taiwan host Zhang Shanwei, better known as A-wei, has came out with his second album. The host of hot entertainment programs in Taiwan, and the star of hot TV soaps, Zhang Shanwei is now hot property on the rising Taiwan pop market. And A-wei says singing is his real passion. His latest hit is "sakura," a Japanese song he liked so much he covered it for his new album.

Hong Kong director Johnnie To Kei-Fung's new movie is "Judo Dragon Tiger Chart." And it's just opened in Hongkong. It's meant to be a muscle fest, about two judo masters competing to be the best, but of course it has a beautiful female lead too, this time, Cherrie Ying. The lead male roles went to Louis Koo and Aaron Kwok. But for some people, veteran Tony Leung is the reason they came out on opening night, or queued for tickets. The all-star cast combine in a movie all about the need to never give up. It's an inspiring theme that might just translate into inspiring box office returns.
