After the hit film based on his best-selling comic book The Sound of Colors, Jimmy Liao is about to bring his "Jimmy's Subway Book, a Musical Journey" on to the stage. The play generated a buzz among the public when showed in Chinese Taiwan and Macao last year.

Departing from the film version, the stage play unfolds a modern fairy tale. A 15-year-old blind girl takes a wonderful journey on the subway and looks forward to a bright future.

The play will run from July the 16th to the 18th at Shanghai's Majestic Theatre. At the same time, Jimmy will hold a week-long solo exhibition at the Shanghai Library, featuring some of his best-known drawings.
