Summer Palace Prepares Special Gift

The Summer Palace, one of the world's most popular tourist attractions, has been busy preparing a special gift for tourists. They said the special gift has to fit the uniqueness and the culture of this imperial garden.

As China's Mid-Autumn festival draws closer, many people start to wonder where’s the best place to go. The Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in the world, will be one of the best places to go in the festival.

Organizers have staged a special ancient Chinese concert in the palace. Tourists can sit in this huge and beautiful garden while listening to the music dating back 2400 years ago.

One tourist said, "This is a great pleasure to enjoy the breeze of the early autumn and listening to this music. It's magnificent."

What is special about this aspect of Chinese culture is that chimes are the primary instruments. It has been called "the unique treasure of the world." Organizers hope the performances will help spread Chinese culture.
