Low Price Strategy Ignites a Ticket Upsurge at Beijing International Music Festival

Tickets for several concerts of the 7th Beijing International Music Festival have already sold out, including the concerts of the famous cellist Yoyo Ma and Tan Dun's multimedia concert and several other leading musicians in the world.

The tickets that fall under 200 RMB or about 25 US dollars are the most popular among audiences. And it is rare in the history of Beijing International Music Festival to see such a high level of audience response. The popularity of this year's festival is mostly attributed to lower ticket prices.

It is estimated that the 7th Beijing International Music Festival will have the largest audience ever.

The 7th Beijing International Music Festival will kick off on Oct 14 and last through Nov 5.
