Tributary Liquor to Be Auctioned

About 10 kilograms of Daoguang XXV Tributary Liquor unearthed in 1996 will be auctioned at the First International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) to be held from Nov. 18 to 22.

The liquor is from the Man Nationality Liquor Co. Ltd. of Liaoning Daoguang XXV Group in Liaoning Province, which was previously the Tongshengjing Distillery established in 1801 by Mr. Gao Shilin, a noble of Man Nationality who lived in Liaoning.

The unearthed Daoguang XXV Tributary Liquor has been auctioned twice with 86 kilograms sold for 3.5 million yuan (US$420,000) in Beijing on Oct. 26, 1999 and 93 kilograms for 5.58 million yuan in Guangzhou on July 6, 2003.

The auction will be held at the conference room on the second floor of the Shenzhen Economic Daily Building at 5 p.m. Nov. 20.
