Textbook Published to Help European Managers Learn Chinese

China published a new textbook for the EU-China Junior Managers' Training Program, according to the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) here Tuesday.

The textbook has four parts including language for daily use, commerce, trade and phonetics. The book is written for people who do not know a word of Chinese.

Sponsored by the European Commission, the textbook was compiled by Beijing Foreign Studies University and published by FLTRP.

More people worldwide have begun to learn Chinese as China develops rapidly. Some foreign universities even include Chinese on their graduation examination.

The EU-China Junior Managers' Training Program, launched in 1999, aims to train European managers to become familiar with Chinese culture, which will help them to do business with Chinese people.
