Chinese Film-makers Shooting Birthplace of Lord Buddha in Nepal

A Chinese film-maker team arrived at Lumbini town in southwestern Nepal on Wednesday to take visuals of the birthplace of Lord Buddha.

The 8-member team led by Wang Fuzhu will be busy for three days, shooting important scenes of the holy place, Madan Regmi, president of China Study Center of Nepal told Xinhua.

During a meeting with the team earlier, Nepali Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Buddhiraj Bajracharya said that such an initiation to promote public-to-public relation will enhance the friendly ties between Nepal and China, the two neighboring countries.

The team, which arrived in Kathmandu at the invitation of the China Study Center is from the China Association of International Friendly Contact.
