Diplomatic Photo Exhibition Held in Beijing

An exhibition of photographs taken by diplomats, embassy staff and international organizations opened here on Wednesday.

The show, called "China through a diplomat's eye," is organized by Mosud Mannan, the president of Beijing Deputy Chief of Missions (DCMs).

"Keeping in tune with the blending of eight thousand years old Chinese culture and the economic development in present China, I believe the show will rightly uphold the success story of modern China and depict China's adherence to peace as its friendly relations and understanding with nations around global," said Mannan, who is also the Bangladeshi minister to China.

As a representative of the prize winners of the show, Willy Gaa,the Philippine ambassador to China, said it was through the lens of a camera that he fell deeply in love with China.

A picture named "The Potala Palace" shot by Andrey Bgatenkov, who works at the Russian Embassy in China, won the top prize of the show.
