A wood carriage made in Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220) is exhibited at the exhibition named "Towards the Peak Period of Tang Dynasty" in Changsha, capital of south China's Hunan Province, July 28, 2006.

The exhibition which had been held at New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo in the past two years, showed more than 300 invaluable cultural artifacts including Bronze wares, ceramics, lacquer wares and jade artifacts as well as gold and silver articles.

It would offer visitors an insight into Chinese history from Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220) to Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907).

All the artifacts were selected from thousands of valuable items displayed at more than 40 museums and collection institutes in 14 municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions in China.
