Adjust font size:

More than 300 items of ancient jade are on display at the gallery of Chengtian Antique City, close to the famous Panjiayuan Antiques Market in Beijing.

The exhibition, organized by the Ancient Jade Research Institute of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, debuted on August 18 and will remain open for a week.

This is the first ancient jade exhibition sponsored by a non-governmental organization. Ancient jade wares cherished by museums and collectors from 11 provinces are exhibited in the gallery.

The exhibition covers almost all styles of famous jade wares from all dynasties in China, including the jade dragon of Hongshan Culture, the big jade disc of Liangchu Culture, and the round jade with veins of hunting of Qijia Culture.

Jade culture is a special culture in China, dating back more than 7,000 years, and reflects all aspects of Chinese people's lives.

This exhibition is free for all visitors.
