Adjust font size:

A group of special Chinese artists on Friday evening gave a performance in the west bank city of Bethlehem, drawing great applause from the Palestinian audience.

Invited by Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital of Norway which chaired a four-day annual international network seminar on rehabilitation, artists from China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe performed at the closing ceremony of the seminar.

The performance reached its climax when some of the troupe's blind performers sang Palestinian folk songs along with local Palestinian boys and girls.

The troupe, China's most famous one formed by disabled artists, was scheduled to perform in Jerusalem on Saturday.

This year's seminar, which is the seventh, draws experts from China, the United States, Norway, Israel and the Palestinian territory.

Besides introducing the current situation of rehabilitation in their countries, the experts discussed how to give psychological therapy to children who have psychological problems originating from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
